Day 1, Friday: Hanoi – Sapa
Our luxury adventure trip starts with an overnight train journey from Hanoi to the border town of Lao Cai. The Victoria Express departs at 9:50 pm. Please be ready at the Hanoi Railway Station at 9:00 pm at 120 Le Duan Str., Hanoi.

Day 2, Saturday: Sapa
The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at approximately 6:30am. There will be a vehicle waiting to transfer us to Sapa. The drive to Sapa is only 33 km but it takes around 01 hour. Once at Sapa, we will check into Victoria Hotel and have breakfast at the Ta Van Restaurant of Victoria Hotel and then enjoy a free morning to explore around town. Meet your guide in the hotel lobby at 2 pm for a walking tour to the hilltribe villages of Cat Cat, home to the H’mong ethnic minority peoples. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area.

Day 3, Sunday: Bac Ha Market – Victoria Express train back to Hanoi
Awakening to the sounds of a new day, we eat breakfast at our hotel and head out for a stunning spectacular weekend market. Bac Ha is considered one of the most wonderful and colorful markets in extreme north Vietnam where thousands of local people in their traditional attire buy and sell the local products. Dogs, cats, pigs, horses… are all on sales. This is a golden opportunity to take your best photos! In the afternoon, we will take a pleasant walk to Ban Pho village, home to the flower H’mong people. This is a great opportunity to interact with the friendly locals and have pleasant walk amongst tribal villages. Transfer to Lao Cai station for overnight Victoria Express back to Hanoi.

Night 1: Pick up from hotel for the night train at at 9:30 PM to get to Laocai Station.

Day 1 (Saturday): Can Cau – Bac Ha
Picked up at Laocai Train Station to transfer to Can Cau market. It takes more than 2 hours to get to CanCau – a small market situated in a valley surrounded by mountains and only 7 km from China. The market deeply shows the typical cultural features of the minorities in remote mountainous areas in Vietnam. Further more, you can enjoy seeing boys and girls in colourful costumes – different colours of the mountains. They attend the market in the hope of finding “the other halves of their lifves” and this is also the time for them to chat, to exchange everything among different ethnic peoples through cups of wine sold in the market. Say goodbye to the market and transfer to BacHa. On the way, spend time visiting a village of the Flower H’mong and then check in hotel in BacHa. Free to explore the town. Lunch in CanCau or in BacHa and dinner in BacHa.

Day 2 (Sunday): Bac Ha – Sapa
A walk to BacHa market. Visit one village and an old building called The H’mong king’s house. Breakfast and the beginning of the day on which you visit a big market filled with many different hill-tribe peoples. This is the most colourful market in North Vietnam. At the market, you have chance to enjoy BacHa people’s simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plumps, apples, peaches… talking to the minorities through the guide’s interpretation. Leave the market for the H’mong King’s house (King Hoang A Tuong) built by the French colonists and the Chinese in 1920. Return the town for lunch. In the afternoon, spend time visiting another village (BanPho village) Say good bye to BacHa and get back to Sapa. On the way back, drop in to see the Vietnamese and Chinese Harbor Mouth in LaoCai. Reach Sapa late in the afternoon. Check in hotel in Sapa.

Day 3 (Monday): Sapa – Muong Hoa valley
Check out hotel and start a trekking trip towards Muong Hoa valley to visit 3 villages of the H,mong, the Dzay people with around 14 km of trekking. Enjoy beautiful landscapes, terraced paddy fields. Discover the live of the people with different cultures. Have dinner and spend the night at the family.

Day 4 (Tuesday): Coc Ly market
Leave from the village early at 6:30 AM for CocLy market, which is situated far from Sapa. Enjoy the peaceful life of 6 different minority peoples (Flower H’mong, Black Dzao, Tay, Dzay, HaNhi and Nung). The market is the chance for the minorities to meet and share joy and sorrows after the crops, to exchange one another’s experience. Say goodbye to the market and get down onto a boat along Chay river. You are bound to feel great and find yourselves smaller among high rock mountains and to be surprised at white and breathtakingly waterfalls. The Fairy Cave is located deeply in the rocks. Get off the boat to visit a village of the Tay Minority (Trung Do village) by the river. After the boat trip, visit a small town – Bao Nhai and then take jeep back to Laocai Station for the night train to Hanoi. Have dinner before getting on the train.

Day 5: Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi roughly 4:30 AM. The end of tour.

Day 1 : Sapa - Cat Cat

Have a picnic lunch here and then go up to the main road to go back to Sapa by car.

Day 3 : Coc Ly and Chay River ( Tuesday only)
Coc Ly river, Sapa tour The car trip departs from Sapa at 7.30 am . After about 2 hours going by bus and enjoy the primitive sceneries on the way you arrive in Coc Ly market. This is the most primitive market in Vietnam with the trading of the Black H’Mong, Flower H’Mong and Tay tribes.
After having lunch you will start the two hour boat trip along the Chay River. Stop to visit The Fairy Cave is located deeply in the rocks. Get off the boat to visit a village of the Tay Minority (TrungDo village) by the river. After the boat trip, visit a small town – BaoNhai and then take bus/jeep back to Laocai Station for the night train to Hanoi. Have dinner before getting on the train.

Day1: Hanoi – Can Cau, on Saturday (B,-,-)

Picked up from Laocai Train Station, after 2 hour drive long the border with China, passing wonderful andscape, and going up and down via Bacha Town and you are in Can Cau Market (20 km from Bac Ha) Can Cau is a special market, smaller and is not as busy as Bacha Market but it is not touristy, – You are back to Bacha at noon to have lunch and check in hotel, in the afternoon you walk one round in Thai Giang Pho Village (4 km)to learn about the life of the Flower H’mong and the Nung. You can drop in any family and invited to drink tea or corn wine (corn wine is considered to be the best here) or take pictures of beautiful landscape and friendly people.

Day 2: Bac Ha Market (on Sunday) – Boat Trip on Chay River(B)
Waken up by the footsteps of people walking to the market, and you will be more surprised to enter the market. The whole market looks colorful like flowers. It is getting bigger and bigger, more and more colorful and special when seeing people taking along pigs, cats, buffaloes, horses for sales. After lunch we drive you to Chay River to do the boat trip for 2 hours up stream to see wonderful landscape by riversides and explore ethnic villages. Car to Sapa, short break in Lao cai by the border gate with China (where the Red River runs to Vietnamm and a nice temple )

Day 3: Hamrong – Thacbac – Hanoi(B)
In the morning, you visit Hamrong (dragon raw) to see the whole fantastic view of the town, the paddy rice fields… on top of this mountain, you also see beautiful orchard gardens, Cultural Village with the traditional stilt house of the Tay people, collection of Sapa pictures (past and present), music and dance performances of the ethnic minorities in Sapa, it is special when walking a little up to touch the cloud and see nice rocks with strange shapes like Dragon raw.
In the afternoon, your guide takes you to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sapa (Silver Waterfall), and a little further up you will be on top of Tramm TT on Pass where we call “Heaven Gate”. You will see long and large valley on one side and high mountains on the other side of which the Fanxifan is the highest mountain in Indochinaa , amazing and breathtaking view.

Day 1: Bac Ha Market (B, L, D), Sunday.

Overnight in homestay of the Dao. Great time to learn about their life and their unique culture.

Day 3: CocLy Market- Boat Trip and Sapa (B, L, D)
After breakfast prepared by your host is you time to explore the village before having another interesting visit to CocLy Market, this is a nice market on Tuesday only, very special. After the market we take 3 hour boat trip downstream on Chai River , viewing amazing mountains and beautiful scenery. Boat takes you to BaoNhai where your car waits for you there and driving you to Sapa for resting and another beautiful experience.Overnight in Sapa.

Day 4: Trekking to visit LaoChai-Ta Van-Giang Ta Chai Village (B, L)
Today our car takes you to LaoChai Village of the Black H’Mong where you start trekking down the Muong Hoa Valley , walking by the stream and terraced rice fields, through the village to Tavan Village of the Dzay where you have break for a nice picnic lunch. We keep on to GiangTaChai Village of the Red-Dzao, trekking through the bamboo forest and crossing a suspension bridge before meeting your car for a drive back to Sapa then transfer to LaoCai for your night train back to Hanoi.
